If you're anything like me, you love all of the buzz and excitement surrounding the end of one year and the beginning of a new one. I always enjoy looking back with fondness on all of the moments that were woven together to tell our 2019 story, and looking forward with hope for what 2020 has in store gives us the opportunity to reflect on what makes up the most important elements of our lives.
For this night in particular, it's time to party. If you've been debating what to do, you have just found the ultimate resource for all of the best shindigs in Spokane. Depending on how elaborate you want your plans to be, I've broken it down into categories for you from the simple to the grand below!

Family Friendly Festivities
If you’re looking for a way to spend New Year’s Eve on the lake, the Coeur d’Alene Resort has that covered, too.
For families, there’s the New Year’s Family Cruise (all tickets $24.50).
The cruise departs at 8 p.m., just in time to catch a fireworks show at 9 p.m.
There will be family-friendly music and entertainment, plus no-host beverages and snacks for sale.
If you want to ring in the new year with a sweet treat, there’s the New Year’s Eve Dessert Cruise, featuring a dessert social and Champagne toast.
This cruise boards at 10 p.m. at the Boardwalk Marina. Tickets are $40.50 for adults, $38.50 for seniors age 55 and older, $30.50 for children 3-12 and free for children 2 and younger.
Fireworks in Riverfront Park - Spokane, WA The celebration in the heart of Spokane will be done on east coast time, with a countdown and fireworks at 9PM, so that you can have the little ones in bed well before midnight. The Pavilion will also feature a special countdown light show twice on New Year’s Eve – once from 8 until 9 p.m. to coincide with the fireworks display, and again from 11 p.m. to midnight. The Pavilion light show features a countdown every 10 minutes to mark the nearing celebration. Free!
This will be a fun, family friendly time! We will have games to play or bring your own. Bring noise makers to ring in the NY New Year at 9pm. No reservations...just come have fun!

Join Key 101 FM’s Dean Jaxon for New Year’s Eve Rockin’ Ballroom Bash, an evening of music and dancing, plus party favors, raffle prizes, a nacho bar and a Champagne toast
at midnight.
